Mike and Kris Reed have served as Awana missionaries since 2004. Their journey with Awana first took them to Kansas where they served for 7 ½ years before moving to western Kentucky in December 2011. In October 2016, they relocated to central Ohio, now serving as missionaries to Kentucky and central/southern Ohio. Mike also is a Sr. Field Director for the US Ministries and Kris is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Ministry Officer.

Before Awana, Mike worked in the insurance industry for 23 years. Kris had been a stay-at-home mom and worked as a part-time attorney up until the time they joined Awana. Kris has served in local Awana clubs for 32 years as either a Sparks leader, a Sparks director, club secretary, or a Cubbies leader. Currently, Kris is a Cubbies leader at their church. Mike has served in local Awana clubs for 15 years as either a commander or a T&T director.

Awana has had a significant spiritual impact in the lives of their four, now grown, children. Mike and Kris are privileged to serve the local church in its mission to reach children and youth with the gospel and to engage them in lifelong discipleship.

Gospel Verses
